My Lovely Florist!

I have been to the florist today to get my flowers for my course on Monday, and my lovely florist was so helpful and friendly! She took my complete stupidity about flowers in her stride, and showed me all that she had. She gave me lots of options and helped me with my colour choice, and then told me that if I could come back on Monday morning at 8am, I would get the best choice as she gets a delivery from the wholesaler at 5am. How fantastic! I told her about my new Flower identification book and how I was studying it over the weekend, and how much I was looking forward to the course. She was really excited for me, and made me feel even more enthusiastic about floristry. I left and she said "Look forward to seeing you on Monday morning!" although I think I can say I am looking forward to it more!

Grace's Flower

This is the flower that I have kept alive all summer which has recently flowered and is doing well on my windowsill. I have overwatered it after forgetting, and it also sits above a radiator. Nonetheless, it is still going strong. Yippee! My one and only green finger must be working magic. Or maybe the fact that it was given to me by Grace, because she killed my last plant - not the best plant monitor in class, bless her!
